The International Association of Mosque Architecture (IAMA) was established in November 2024 as an independent and non-profit international academic association that focuses on the study, research, education, and knowledge exchange about Mosque Architecture around the globe.

4TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MOSQUE ARCHITECTURE ISTANBUL
The 4th International Conference on Mosque Architecture will be held from November 4th to 6th, 2025, in Istanbul. It is organised in partnership between the Abdullatif Al Fozan Award for Mosque Architecture and Istanbul Technical University.

IAMA Chapters allwo for continuous support, engagement and collaboration with academic institutions, research organisations and professional bodies linked to the design, building, and development of mosque architecture. IAMA strives to ensure equal representation and to have a Chapter Coordinator from each region to coordinate regional activities, training and knowledge exchange.
